is it possible to have diabetes if i have low blood sugar or is diabetes only found in people with low sugar? im 16 years old and for the past couple years, ive been having faint spells where i feel really dizzy at first, then my vision gets really blurry, i become unconscious for a few seconds and i dont know what is happening around me. i have low blood sugar and my blood pressure is a little low. could this be diabetes? if not, what could it be? sorry, i meant to ask if it was only found in people with high blood sugar.

Hi, I have had several episodes of lightheadedness (it has happened twice in the morning and once at night) where after drinking juice it resolves itself., but then develop a bit of a headache afterwards. I am going to the Dr. on Wednesday about this, but I am curious if anyone knows what may be the cause of this? I am concerned that I might have diabetes or something even more serious?

Today, I went to have my glucose screening test done along with my 27th week check up and saw that I gained about 10 lbs in a month! I was horrified and cannot figure out what would cause such a thing since I don’t eat much junk food and try to eat smaller, more frequent meals. So far, I have gained 15 lbs this pregnancy, my doctor thinks it could be gestational diabetes, I cannot help but be scared to death about this, I have the feeling that I am not trying hard enough to maintain a healthy baby. Im just wondering what are your chances of going blind from diabetes im worried about it. It runs big in my family and my friend said she will test my blood tomorrow to see if i have diabetes also im wondering if she test my blood on here meter will she be able to tell me if i have it or not?

He is 13 and has type 1 diabetes. We are really close and he is always talking about it (how it sucks to have it). I really want to help him because he seems so helpless. I need info. Ex. What do i do if he needs help like if he does not have his insulator?
